These FAQ's will help in understanding the process of ordering and deliveries.
1. How does it work?
We are the delivery service listed on this site. We take your order by phone or internet and place it with the restaurant. We dispatch mobile waiters to pick up the food, pack it in an insulated thermal bag and deliver it directly to you. Usually your mobile waiter will be waiting at the restaurant when the food comes out of the kitchen.
2. Can I also order over the phone?
Yes! Our Customer Center number is (210) 248-9514. Our friendly, knowledgeable Customer Service Representative will be glad to assist you with all your meal delivery needs!
3. What are the ordering hours of Dash 'N Dine-In Delivery?
We are open Monday-Friday for lunch, 11:00 am until 2:00 pm, and dinner, from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Last order is taken 15 minutes to closing (Allows for drivers to deliver meal within delivery hours). We gladly take orders in advance. Please log on to our website and select advance ordering or call us in advance if you need a specific delivery time. With advance notice we can deliver outside of our delivery zones and hours of operation (minimum amount required).
4. What is the latest I can place an order with Dash 'N Dine-In Delivery?
The latest an order can be placed is 15 minutes prior to closing, Monday-Friday.
5. How long does it take for delivery to arrive?
Our normal delivery time is between 45 to 60 minutes; however, we can make no guarantees on delivery time. Certain situations such as rush hour traffic, number of in-house calls, carryout and delivery orders being handled by the restaurant, inclement weather conditions, road conditions, restaurant preparation time, and other factors may require extra time. Please know that we are always working hard to get your food delivered as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience!
6. What is the delivery area?
We currently deliver in to the following zip codes: 78245, 251, 230, and 216. Pick the Zip Code in your location and the list of restaurants to choose from will be under that link. If you are not sure, please call us with your address to find out if delivery is available in your area. We will deliver outside of our zones if neccessary.
7. How much does it cost for your favorite restaurant food to be delivered hot and fresh to your door?
The cost for delivery starts at $5.50 per restaurant depending on location of the restaurant and your delivery location. Please refer to the Zip Codes located under the business banner main page (click on zone) for delivery fees that apply to your Zone. If outside the Delivery Zip Codes a different charge may apply. Please consult our Customer Service Representative for further assistance.
8. When are you getting more restaurants?
We would like to deliver for as many restaurants as possible. However, we have to be under contract by the restaurant to deliver for them. You can help by telling your favorite restaurant's owner/manager you want us to deliver their food to you.
9. Why are there more restaurants on the website than on the delivery catalog?
Delivery menus are printed every quarter, while our website is updated constantly with new vendors monthly. We deliver for restaurants all over the city. When you logon to the website, the restaurants within your general delivery range will appear on the left of the page.
10. How can I put special requests on my online order?
Whenever you have a special request, click the EDIT button next to your item and type your request. If you have a food allergy, please note that, too. Requesting extras may cost more and will be added to your total when necessary.
11. Does the mobile waiter check my order?
Your mobile waiter relies on the restaurant's staff to prepare and pack your order accurately. For your health, safety, and assurance, mobile waiters are not allowed to open containers. Please take a moment to check your order before your mobile waiter leaves. The mobile waiters count the items at the restaurant before they leave, but by law the mobile waiters cannot visually open the containers.
12. Do the mobile waiters accept tips?
The mobile waiters work for gratuities just like the restaurant waiters. Please consider the efforts of our mobile waiters. Tips are a significant portion of your mobile waiter's income. They do not receive an hourly wage and work primarily for tips and the delivery fee is not considered a tip. A 10% gratuity is standard, however you may tip as much as you would like. Orders over $80 include an automatic tip of 10%.
13. Will my food be hot and fresh when delivered?
The mobile waiters pick up your food straight from the restaurant's kitchen and deliver the food in our sophisticated insulated thermal bags. These bags are designed to keep food hot and fresh. Food items such as French fries are harder to keep hot, but the thermal bags are designed to keep them from being soggy. We always do everything we possibly can to deliver your food in the highest quality and condition!
14. Do you have a minimum food cost to order?
Yes, Please be aware that there is a $30 for lunch, and $15 for dinner minimum required per restaurant or several restaurants, excluding taxes, drinks, and the gratuity for your mobile waiters. Prices, menus, and delivery policies subject to change without notice.
15. What forms of payment does Dash 'N Dine-In Delivery accept?
We accept Cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. We do not accept checks, sorry for the inconvenience. Photo ID and actual credit card must be present at the time of delivery. If the card is not available, another form of payment will be required before we will leave the food. Receipt must also be signed.
16. Can I put the gratuity on my credit card at the same time I place my order?
You may include the tip on your credit card, just let your Customer Service Representative know when placing your order.
17. Does Dash 'N Dine-In Delivery offer drinks?
We currently offer cans of Coke, Diet Coke, Dr. Pepper, Sprite, Pepsi, and bottled water.
18. What are the prices of drinks?
Please check our website for current updated prices.
19. Do you offer Catering?
Yes, please look for our catering menus under the catering section on the left hand side of your screen. Most restaurants require 24 hour preparation time, so please try to order in advance, if possible. Remember: We only deliver the food, we do not set it up.
20. Can I make Special Requests when placing my order?
Dash 'N Dine-In Delivery always makes every effort to accommodate special requests. Don't hesitate to call our Customer Service Representatives. We strive on customer service and would be happy to help you in any way.
21. Can I order food to be delivered from a restaurant that isn't listed in your menu guide?
Yes, see our "More Restaurants tab" follow the directions and we will be more than happy to deliver your meal. We have special relationships with our restaurants that we deliver for. Please let us know if there is a restaurant that your would like to see in our menu guide or on our website. Call our Customer Center and let our Customer Service Representative know, and we will try to sign them up.
22. Does Dash 'N Dine-In Delivery offer gift certificates?
Gift certificates are available. Call our Customer Center for details at (210) 248-9514 or check online.
23. Do you accept coupons?
We currently do not accept restaurant published coupons that we deliver for. However, look for coupons through certain publications in the near future.
24. Who do I call if there is a mistake with my order?
Dash 'N Dine-In Delivery strives to do everything possible to get your hot and fresh meal delivered to you in a timely, correct, and efficient manner. There are very rare occasions that the restaurants may make a mistake, but we will correct the matter as soon as possible! Credits can be applied to phone and online orders. To use your credit, please call the Customer Center to place your order. Thank you for reporting your concerns to us, so we can continue improving our service. If you have concerns regarding your order: Please contact our Customer Center and not the restaurant! Customer Center at (210) 248-9514 must be contacted within thirty minutes of delivery if there is anything missing or incorrect with your order.
25. If I have a question and it is not listed here, what do I do?
